God is love. Love is something to love, not to fear.

Loving God. Obviously, you can't have a good relationship with a human being you don't love. The same should be said of God: You can't have a good relationship with God if you don't love God. That is, really love God.

Loving God's children. Moreover, you can't have a relationship with God if you don't love God's children -- because God loves Her children, and God is Her children. Did you ever hear this? "Whatever you do unto the least of these, you do unto Me."

Loving God, and loving God's children -- it's the most natural thing a person can do. God and God's children are enormously lovable, and you are enormously loving. God made you that way, by giving you His heart, and His love to give. Surrendering to the Divine flow is the most effective way to bring love into relationship, because God has good love to give -- relevant love, case-sensitive love. God knows what people need, and how to make them happy.

Such is the connection between Love and God.
